This and that. . .

Taken through the window on Monday when the rain and windstorm were passing through, this shows the tip top of the White Pine outside my living room window during the storm that caused so much havoc and destruction to many on the Pacific coast and flooding of the Salmon Creek River here.





There is a bit of blue promise between the trees above in each of the photos.


I saw this bird in the tree and it was standing so still, it almost looked like a solitary leaf still hanging onto a branch! CLICK on this photo to enlarge as I didn't crop it -- the bird shows much better then.




The sky looked a bit melancholy with these ominous, dark clouds amidst the white puffs and just a little blue sky peeking through.
