Portland Marathon Memories . . .

I participated in the Portland Marathon three years ago. I walked and had no plans to break any records. I finished and got a shirt, medal, pin, blanket and evergreen tree that all finishers are given. We had beautiful weather to walk in then. Today, the runners and walkers had cloudy weather and if they have finished, they had good luck because it has now been raining for an hour. I'm glad I participated. I enjoyed being a part of it but I was not there for any records except to complete it. I DID!
