My walk at sunset. . .

The sun is starting to set over the Columbia River in the west.

Closer view. . .

Next. . . walking west towards sunset.

The Columbia with setting sun.

Almost down . . .

Just the sunset hue left. . .

Statue of Ilahee, the Indian lady who helped Lewis and Clark navigate the Columbia River.

On the way home to uptown Vancouver, I walked through the park where the bell tower is as I had never seen it at night. The illuminated clocks on each side were eye catching in the darkness of the evening.

Again, this is so beautiful! I use your photo hunters SHAMELESSLY for my students..I can only describe what you have taken and what the theme is.

They turn out extraordinary work and I just wanted to tell you. They will spend hours picking my brain about the texture and color combinations...and then just experiment. I am looking forward to what they accomplish this coming week with the sunset theme.

You are such an inspiration when we talk about being able to enrich your life, no matter what the world throws at you. You may not be famous, but you give hope to men society has written off.
