Experimenting. . .

Some people have special programs like Photoshop or Photo Elements to "play with" their photos. i don't. . . i just have Appleworks which wasn't even on my new G5 iMac computer. . .

Today, I felt like doing something different so I made this photo by enlarging it first, then inverting the colors and finally adding another smaller copy in the center. I kinda like the effect.

When i get a bit more time, I plan to try some other things with it and will post here. Here's some.

If you like playing with your photos you have got to try The Gimp. It is Open Source software and you can download if for free at www.gimp.org. Just click on the 'downloads' tab on the left. It takes a little getting used to but it is FREE and it is just as powerful as Photoshop. Check it out!! I do my digital scrapbooking on the Gimp. Fun Fun!

I don't know the answers to your questions on my new blog. Sorry, just figuring it out step by step. I have to have the numbers to prevent spamming. Even with the moderation I have had problems. My computer tech said that is the most important thing I need to do with the new blog is to make sure that every person has to put those numbers in. He said that if I go the moderation route it will still allow the cookies into the system along with possible virus problems. So the letters will have to stay. I tried to email you from my blog by clicking on your name but you don't have an email attached. I can do it with everyone else but you. I have no idea how you enable that. I am like a blind person stumbling around in the computer/blog land! LOL!
