OH Paulie, I LOVE LOVE LOVE the flower collage.

You had asked me some questions on my last post:
I think what you are seeing is the "wishing well" that is near the building in that shot of the tree.

Also - the "trash" isn't visible to most...the path to get to the other side is very narrow and I have NEVER seen anyone on that side before. Besides me and hubby last weekend :)
This is a private park for members of the Izaak Walton league, so there is NO parks and recreation dept or anything like that, everything is volunteer. There are only about 30 members that actively use the park....so we are there by ourselves a LOT.
ALSO - there was a train derailment here a a year or so ago....the train that derailed was loaded with brand new trucks....so that is probably how the tire got into the pond. The pond is supposed to be dredged this summer, I think, so that should remove that stuff.

Thank you for all of your comments...sorry to ramble on...but I wanted to respond to your questions.

Have a Great Day!

Oh, I really love the Gladiolas, I cannot wait for warm weather and flowers! Very nice post for the "G"...
I am glad you stopped by and yes, I loved your comment on "the sheltered table" photo. It is a great idea to sit and eat while the kids play in the snow... it is often what folks will do. You picked up on the atmosphere perfectly...

I did see that you visited me twice on Bridges, and thanks for the comment and visiting my lil ol blog.

Nice! Hey, is that the graffiti on the bridge on Columbia? I haven't been down there since Saturday Market last year.

I used to grow glads, but I don't think they'd survive the wind in our garden - they had to be staked under normal conditions.

Digital Flower Pictures said...

That is quite a combination!

Neva said...

Lovely glads!

Just been to another site that did graffiti and lots of poeple said they don't ike it, but I don't mind it some of the artistic variety. it can brighten up dull places.

A sure sign of summer!
The weather however is not very promiing today...an ideal time for me to get on with my spring cleaning don't you think? So I should be doing it right now! LOL!
