Sky Watch Friday #19

If you want to join Sky Watch Friday blogging, go here for the blogroll.
Skywatch

We might have gray skies but I see buds on the trees and lots of diffrent birds recently. Not sure what this is -- maybe a crow? I guessed right. The major consensus is a crow as it is too small for a raven.

Spring is just around the corner. Leaves are sprouting in our area too.

Looks crow-like to me. Good contrast with the background. Hard to get good "sky' pictures here isn't it, all so pale and gray.

Sure looks like a crow or a raven to me. Great pics. I'm jealous of the budding branches!

For some reason the first photo isn't showing up for me, but the others are really nice. I don't know what kind of birds those are either but they made a nice shot for the photos.

If grey is all you are getting you are at least putting it to good use as a background. I would say that is a crow posing for his fame on Skywatch..

Thank you for linking

The first photo is icon for SWF, , , blogger isn't cooperating. The other three I loaded through Image Shack. It took me 6 hours to finally get this post up. I am not going to worry too much about the skywatch icon this time.

Nice pictures. You'll have to take some photos of the same trees once the leaves come out!

I cannot help you with the species - I'll just say that they were nicely caught!

Great photos and I think it's a crow, but not pretty sure.

Hi Paulie! I love the bird pictures, sitting on the budding trees! I can't wait for spring to actually get here. The first picture wouldn't come up for me. I'll come back later to see it.

I think it's a raven too, crows are smaller but either way, great capture. The ones around here just never stay put long enough for me to take pictures.

I'd guess crow also. We were quite gray today with lots of rain and thunderstorms - looks great with the bird and branches.

Thanks for your nice comments on my blog. I'd love to see the bulletin board at your church when you get it up.
