PHOTO HUNTERS #3--hair

Photo Hunters Website

My granddaughter is getting married this weekend so in case I don't get time to post my entry, I am doing it a bit early. . .
Photo Hunters theme this week is “hair.” I thought about taking a photo of myself and show the world my graying hair but . . . I decded I was not ready to do that yet.

I looked all week long for something to photograph that concerned hair. I was getting discouraged since nothing stood out. I even considered photographing the hair that comes out in my brush daily!!!!!!! Then I thought if I was that desperate I could claim ignorance in spelling and use this:

Then, I thought of a cute photo I had taken of one of my last Kindergarten students. . . his red hair was certainly something that stood out and his caricature he made of himself in September to use all year with different art projects would be a cute photo. . . .

THEN, it dawned on me that I had the best entry for hair from a trip to the zoo with my Kindergarten class. . . and here it is!

One of these should be the perfect “hair” photo for my entry -- I’ll let you decide. Now on to hunting for something shiny for next week.

I can't decide on my favorite, the Hare or the Hair in the last one.
Guess it's a tie :)
Happy Hunting!

I really like all of these takes on hair... and ummm, hare, lol. At one point I thought about hare, but only have a rabbit and they are not the same thing. As a former rabbit breeder I just couldn't go there. In the end I found other hair, lol.

Drop by my lair
to see my hair,
With time to spare,
others will be there.

What a wonderful picture that last one is.... making new friends, perhaps each contemplating the others hair?

glad to see someone else had some fun with the hair theme -- or in my case, the lack of. Thanks for stopping by.

Aww, you're right, there are 3 good choices right there! My 2 1/2 year old son lit up at the "hare" and kept saying "Bunny! It's a bunny mama!"
Thanks for your comment - I definitely want to do red again :-)

Hi Paulie --

Great photos and comments! And yeah, I'm having to think and search quite a bit for my "Shiny" submission too... :)

I thought I'd commented on your blog yesterday. Might have been getting tired. :-P

LOVE orangutans. They have the most interesting facial expressions!
The kindergartner's art is precious.
And yeah, why not a hare with hair? ;-)
Thanks for stopping by my late entry!
