Blog Your Blessing Sunday #36
If you care to join us acknowledging our blessings go here: Blue Panther
Everywhere I looked this week, I saw BLUE SKIES! That's my blessing this week. . . living in the northwest, we get lots of precipitation except in July and August and sometimes part of September. I like the cooling rain and the plants sure need it but I wish it would only rain at night when I am sleeping. . .
To think that back when I was looking for a place to move after college graduation, I chose Vancouver because of "high precipitation."lol Where I lived in southeastern Idaho, precipitation meant SNOW which I love! I soon found out my mistake -- even tho I was sure the rain forest was up in northwest Washington, I soon found out that we get the rain blessings here too. THUS, with blue skies for so many days now, I have truly been blessed!

Yes, you HAVE been blessed with pretty blue skies and some very nice pictures too!
It is terribly dry here and has been for almost 2 years. We had a nice little shower today so we have been blessed too.
Your skies are glorious. The pine tree seems to be pointing to the next wonder. Happy BYB Sunday.
Blessings are all around us everywhere. I love blue skies, too.
What neat photos Paulie, i like them all but that stream is so comforting and peaceful looking, something i would love to sit at and relax
Beautiful skies! And thank you for sharing these lovely shots with us :)
Happy BYB Sunday :)
We were blessed with gorgeous blue skies on our weekend at Mt. Rainier. Different from a couple of weeks ago when we were frightened by a three hour thunderstorm and drenched by lots of rain. All sorts of weather is necessary, but it is certainly good to have the blue sky times between the storms.
I love that squirrel with a different tail. You are a gift photographer, paulie.
Living in Texas, my blessing is a cloudy sky that allows me to work in the garden or, even better, a rainy sky that showers us with another blessing, water.
The skies look so pretty! I really like the shot of the squirrel.
Beautiful shots Paulie! LOVE the shot of the moon in the daytime!!
LOVE the squirrel shot. I know a lot of people think of them as pests, but I just love those little buggers!
You are lucky indeed - the blue skies have left us. Only the greys are left :-(
Paulie, I can't find your Odd Shot.
Hmmm, well I've been to all your blogs and to this one several times looking for your odd shot... if this is it, um... hip-hip-hurray!
If it isn't, lol... I'll have better luck next time ;-)
We had rain while I was in Alabama last week but still none here at our house. I think its been about 6 weeks now. We've been watering our tomatoes and some plants in pots but I think we'll have to start watering our grass too.
Mama Bear
Those are some wonderful "blue sky" photos... and yes, a rest from precipitation is a good thing! :)
Yay for blue skies! They are indeed a great blessing! Our skies are the bluest blue today here too, so we be blessed too!
Your post reminds me of a famous house near a waterfall: it was designed so that you had to seek out a view of the waterfall, rather than having a view of it in every room. The reason was that the architect did not want people to take the waterfall for granted.
Great post, and wonderful pictures.
Those definitely were some beautiful skies I love your photos. You take some beautiful nature shots.
Great blessing.
Thanks for your visit to my 10th BYBS at Sacred Ruminations. I’m sorry to be late in visiting yours, but I’m glad I didn’t miss the ‘prism in the clouds’ (or your ‘kewl odd shot’ in the previous post), so I guess all things worked together for good in this case. These are lovely blue skies … and I enjoyed the squirrel, flowers, scenic view and pine cones. Thanks for sharing. I’ve left a little something for you in today’s post … so whenever you drop by again, be sure to check here.
Hugs and blessings,
