Blog Your Blessings Sunday #17

Go here if you would like to participate: Blue Panther

The last time it snowed here about two weeks ago, it didn't last very long but it was at least sticking to the ground! On my way home from taking photos, I took the Burnt Bridge Trail heading west. I had first walked another section of it going east. Then I took a bus back to this point where I discovered this beauty. Much of the snow had melted as it was 10 hours later but I did happen upon this interesting plant with snow crystals spreading its gems of ice on the winter dried plant My blessing today is the gift of nature at its finest in unusual plants and their interaction with weather, particularly snow.

Postscript:
Sorry I missed participating last week. Saturday, I had a bad experience caught in the dark and snow in a region I had not explored previously. Thank God, a nice family saw me and helped me to get back home. I was too shaken to write about a blessing that night BUT had I, it would have been the "angels" that helped me to safety.

An excellent example of God's power. In both the photo and your being rescued.
I am so weird, I love to watch the falling of snow and to see the beauty of the ground and and greenery dressed in all white, but that is the end of my pleasure. I do not like the bitter cold or the aftermath of snow.

Paulie, this is a beautiful photograph. It is magnificent in the large view. I am so sorry that you got lost. When it is dark and cold, that is awfully scary.
