Mt. Hood in January 2008

The same day last week that I went to watch the sunset in the west on the Columbia River, I turned east and got this one of Mt. Hood in Oregon.

You have some beautiful scenery there. I wonder what the little black dot on the side of the mountain is.

That's a really nice angle. You know how I am about mountains.

Probably a bird flying in front of the camera -- lots of starlings around river at that time. I hadn't noticed it until you said something so I looked at the original which is 8 x 10 and it is still a black dot! I first thought it was a dirty spot on my lens but it is not on the photo before or the one after. . . so draw your own conclusions. I vote for a bird.

That was some steep mountain - not for the nervous ones!

That is so beautiful, Paulie. Nothing like the view from my windows here in south Florida! We did get a little rain over the weekend. Still praying for more. Thank you for stopping by Pollywog Creek. Blessings on your week, Paulie!

Thanks for stopping by my place, today! Wow..this is a fantastic picture! I sure hope to get out that way someday. I am going to Alaska this summer and am certain I'll see this type of breathtaking scenery.

Hugs,

Susan
