ABC Wednesday Year 2 post #1
Go here if you would like to join us for ABC Wednesday. . . Mrs Nesbitt
This is my first entry for ABC Wednesday. . . I got interested in it a few weeks ago but decided to wait until they started a new round.
It was hard to decide what to use for the letter "A" because I have so many possibilities. I just took some neat photos of AIRPLANES . . . no, think I will save that for a Friday Sky Watch. . . Well, there are those ANTIQUE AUTOMOBILES I got photos of that were parked over near Main St not long ago. . . No, I might use those for ANOTHER letter later on. . . hmmmmmmmm What about the ARCHITECTURE of several very old buildings I passed in downtown recently OR the new ones going up? Surely , a photo of THE ACADEMY built by Mother Joseph and on the historical register should rank as number one? No, I might save those for other letter later too. . . I did go over to the OLD APPLE TREE PARK to snap a photo but the tree is looking its AGE. (It has the distinction of being the oldest APPLE tree in Washington state.) OK, I guess I should stop the teasing and show you what I finally decided on for "A".
These disks are ART work found on the Housing Authority building in downtown Vancouver that is ACROSS the street from my APARTMENT building. There were duplicates of them and they fit AROUND the top of the building, spaced evenly. I have no idea what they represent or why the ARCHITECT used them. I tried to find information on the internet but none was AVAILABLE.

Those are lovely pieces of art disks. I don't think I've ever noticed them on buildings. Welcome to ABC Wednesday. I'll add you to my blogroll and thanks for posting your comments on my blog today.
Perhaps they represent plant life in the area and a state bird. I can't make out what the bird is?
Great A Choice!!!

Maybe the represent setting
