I was out taking photos of our beautiful day on Saturday and when I got home, I had this one among the others. I have no idea what happened as I was taking the shot. . . why the photo would have little branches all over like that or the strips I call "toilet paper streams" in it. I thought it was bad enough/weird enough to be called an ODD SHOT. Anyone know what happened?

It is like it is blurred. Hurts my eyes to look at it. I think you moved......(did you fall down?) as you were snapping this picture. interesting shot.
Nothing unusual happened when I was taking photos. . . you won't see the many horizontal lines and the places where it looks like long sheets of toilet tissue here and there in the photo if you don't enlarge it. It will just look blurry. I can't remember if there was a squirrel up there and it moved so I moved the camera OR if I was just taking a photo of the conglomeration of limbs. For me, I had to see it enlarged to see the odd shots I am speaking of.
Looks like a motion blur to me. I do see the effects I think you're talking about in the enlarged version (looks like an X in the lower right, for example)...
I think that's just the way your camera processed the shot. Bet it would look pretty cool if you crop a good size section of odd shots from the whole.
Well, I think you camera did a fine job @ providing an Odd Shot.

it is somehow horrible. I can't look... but it is interesting anyway, how you did it?
Another thought... if you took this shot quickly after another one, the camera may not have been quite ready yet and attempted to take it anyway.
Definately an odd shot. I enlarged but it just looks to me like maybe you moved a little when you snapped the picture. Believe me I take LOTS of blurred pictures.
I'm not into Odd Shots, but my eyes absolutely felt odd after watching the picture!

I think maybe your finger just slipped while you were moving your camera?
However, if you look at it in a totally "experimental art" type of way, it is OUTSTANDING!

Surreal is what comes to mind for me. I sometimes wonder what I was thinking about some shots. Or those shots that you didn't meant to happen--the ones of your toes or...
Oy, it makes me seasick...I think camera moved a little.
I looked at the large one and you moved the camera as you clicked the button. The "toilet paper" things are branches, elongated by the camera movement. Good entry! Good discussion. See you!

At 1st glance it looks like your camera took as shot while you were moving. Maybe it is some sort of ghost or poltergist. LOL Thanks for your comments on mine.
I like odd shots. I have quite a few of those myself. Hmmm, maybe that makes me an odd shot too? Lol.... enjoyed the visit.
