If you care to join us acknowledging our blessings go here: Blue Panther
This waterfall, in a little park next door to my apartment reminds me of what a blessing it is to have water. Besides the aesthetic reasons, water is something we need to live. We take it for granted in countries where it is plentiful. Perhaps we need to step back and think of what a great gift God has given us. We need to enjoy His gift but not waste it.
Just in one day we have water for many things:
***to shower
***to enjoy my cup of cocoa, coffee or tea
***to have clean dishes to eat out of
***to wash my clothes
***to water my plants
***to clean my floors
***to cool my drinks with ice cubes
***to keep my cold food cold during transport to a potluck
***to use in recipes
***to water the grass to make it green
***to water my garden or flower bed
***to wsh the car
***to enjoy a glass of cold water on a hot day
***to boil my potatoes or macaroni or eggs
***to swim in or run through the hose
There's probably more ways to use water but these were all I could think of off the top of my head. Water is a blessing we often take for granted. I've been blessed with it all my life and can't begin to imagine what it is like in countries that have a drought. Even tho I hate when it rains because it isn't comfortable walking where I need to go in the rain, I can thank God for the rain He gives us to keep our reservoirs full. So, forgive me, Lord when I complain about yet another rainy day when I am blinded to the blessing.
Go here if you would like to play this Sunday meme: Camera Critters
I caught this little hare running around our downtown park, hiding in the bushes. It had two companions but they were too fast for me to catch them all!

aaahhh...such a cutie :D
Will you visit mine Thanks
Paulie: Cool capture of the bunny.
Very good post Paulie! I think we do forget to thank God for this very necessary thing. We are still on water restrictions in Georgia.
What a great find and photo, just love those rabbits
Great capture! I've seen the same bunny (well, at least I think it's the same one) at the same place for three of my sunset walks now... but it's always too dark to get a photo of it. Bunnies are so cute!
This is a great shot, Paulie!
Water is a blessing for sure. Trully important to body and spirit.
Cut bunny. I found more squirrels on my say home from church thismorning. Havet to see how my pics came out.
You are so right about water. Humans are 80% water. We can live for weeks without food, but are dead in days without water.
I am blessed to live in a city that has a river running through it. I hope you enjoy that waterfall often.
Great catch Paulie! Cute hare.
I was mowing the yard yesterday and enjoyed watching 2 of these scampering around my clippings.
Thanks for your visit to and warm comments on my BYBS post at Sacred Ruminations … inviting me back here to yours. The waterfall image looks like a drawing rather than a photo. It’s lovely indeed … and so are your reminders about how we might take ‘water’ for granted in our lives.
I enjoyed your rabbit ‘capture’ today framed by the lovely lavender blossoms in the bushes.
Actually I participated in Camera Critters on my other blog, Small Reflections … featuring my two ‘fur companions’ today … and last week I introduced my Labrador Retriever, Molly, playing ‘peek-a-boo’ as a baby-dog. I hope you’ll have time to visit sometime during the week.
Hugs and blessings,
Oddly enough, for me there is also the taste of water and how I associate it with a place. Or the sound of the pipes.
Have a good week.
Awwwwwwwwwwwwww the Hare is beautiful
How very true. It seems the blessings we really need are often taken for granted.
This is the first bunny I saw on CC. Very cute!
Water! Clean, clear, beautiful water! We are definitely blessed to have it. Thanks for sharing this Paulie. God bless.
love the water fall and i just got out of the shower we are blessed to have water i like your blog
Beautiful photos, Paulie, and excellent thoughts about water, too. We are blessed. Thank you for stopping by the creek and commenting on Emily's "hospital" post. I do appreciate your prayers for my recovery. I really, really want to get to Texas! =)
When I was a child we got our water from a well and in the summer during droughts, we ran short. We often shared our bath water with each other. We got water from neighbors who had deeper wells and sometimes used water from the pond or creek to flush our toliet.

I see you have a couple of comments that should be deleted. I get so tired of these.
