Received this from blogger friend. . .

The directions are: "Give the award to up to 10 people whose blogs bring you happiness and inspiration and make you feel so happy about blogland! Let them know by posting a comment on their blog so that they can pass it on.

Sharon
awarded this to me this past week and I am finally having time to put it on my site and award it also.

The award goes to Kathy and her hubby for the wonderful trip to see and play in the snow at Mt. Rainier for my birthday. Just Kathy has a blog but the trip was made possible by both of them taking turns driving. It was a most generous gift because I don't drive and I could never have gone there without their help! Of course, I enjoy Kathy's blog writings and photos too!

Although I have other blogging friends I might like to give it to, it would take away from the special presentation to Kathy and her hubby so I won't this time. I LOVE SNOW and this winter we have been teased by flurries 6 times already but none that really stayed on the ground to photograph. It was a trip I will never forget! The only negative thing about it was that it was too short! (See Kathy, it didn't bother me that I fell down 5 times trying to snow shoe!)

It was my first time and no practice when we went with a guide on a short trek. . . (I didn't do well.) I did manage to get a few photos. . .

What a birthday blessing to have friends who know how much I love snow and take me to it. this year. Yes, I know this has been a blessing in different ways several times on my blog already but this is a different slant this time.

For he saith to the snow, Be thou on the earth; . . . Proverbs 25:13 ...
