Home again . . .

Despite the rain on Monday, Katney and her hubby picked me up in Vancouver and we headed back north to Mount Rainier. I took lots of photos but left my photo "purse" in their car unknowingly so the disk I had full, I won't have for a few days. (They are graciously mailing it to me.) I did have this one on a second disk. It was taken Tuesday afternoon when we did see partial blue skies and a peek of THE MOUNTAIN taken from the Nisqually River bed. (Click on it to enlarge or you won't get even the small glimpse of the near the top of the mountain.)

Hello again! Thank you for all those nice comments - it is what keeps the camera and blog going!

PS If you have problems opening any of my pictures, can you please give me a word? They reside on a Unix-server belonging to my employer (University of Bergen) and they have just been the victims of a malicious attack that has created problems with black-listing.

Great shot can't wait to see the rest of your photos.
As for the kittie, i am not sure what we are doing with it, although Nevada has thought about naming him TOM TOM
I certainly don't need anymore. But he sure is cute, depends on what and how the others take to him or him to them , there pretty set in there ways being that there older cats now. One thing i hate is hearing of people dumping there animals or just leaving them.

Climate changes or season variations in this river?
Nice to learn that you and Katney have social contact.
