PHOTO HUNTERS #12 HAPPY

PHOTO HUNTERS HOME

I subbed for a teacher friend who got this HAPPY hat from her principal after winter break. I couldn't talk her into giving it to me! (I collect snowmen memorabilia.)

My second HAPPY photo is a picture of two of my former Kindergarten students digging into the rice table for the first time. Now don't you think they look happy?

This winter I am converting our water table into a rice table. Nice to see a photo of kids having fun with playing with it.

And I have never seen a snowman hat before - very original.

I love the hat and the children digging in the rice. What fun! Thanks for coming for a visit to Pollywog Creek and leaving so many kind comments. You are a blessing. Hope your weekend is filled with happiness! (BTW, I don't have an expensive camera or a macro lens. I just take hundreds of photos and one or two of them are bound to turn out great! =) )

That hat is priceless!! And both my boys adore the rice table. At one point they switch it to beans and they like that even better because you can throw them at people :)

Hi Paulie. That's a cute hat. I love the photo of the children. It's great to see them so happy. Simple things can really be a nice source of happiness.

Thanks for visiting and noticing the typo I made on my son's birthday. I edited it and placed the correct year. It's not 2007 but 2003.

Thanks for stopping by my place. If I'd known you were coming, I would have made you a cuppa tea.
I am going to read more about you on your blog. It will be the 3rd new one I've found through "photo hunters" this week.
Are the leaves changing in your area? reference the photo here. I'm am afraid our color will be effected by our severe drought this year.
Now, since you gave the nice award to all us "photo hunter" participants, I am going to claim in and post it on my blog this week.
Thanks,
Mama Bear

Okay, I'm commenting again! I went and read some of your older posts.
First, I admire your long walks, does the weather cooperate. I have not been able to walk outdoors in months because of the heat and the air quality. I walk on my treadmill instead. But I miss the outdoors. I do have to limit my walks to about 3 miles unless they take me by a store because of bathroom breaks. You are lucky to have so many nature trails within your bus routes. J and I enjoy walking trails and usually do those together if there is somewhere to park our car.
I have added your site to my favorites as I look forward to reading it regularly.
I enjoy photography, nature, and am just learning cross stitch. I have read all of Mott's books. Have you read any of Sue Grafton's mysteries. Or Navada Barr, she writes stories in National Parks.
