Last night from the Confluence Bridge. . .

It was a warm day in the high 80's yesterday so when I was finished with the scheduled things I had to do, I went for a walk along the Columbia River. I stayed until sunset and then decided to walk the Confluence Bridge to go home. This was the first time at dusk that I had crossed it. Look at the beautiful sight that greeted me as I looked back over my shoulder! On the left, you see the iron railing separating us on the bridge from the railroad tracks and on the right you see a car emerging from under the bridge on Hiway 14. You will want to click on this one to see how beautiful the sunset and surroundings really are. . .

I'm not sure I'd be out walking at night like that. Guess I"m a fraidy cat.
Paulie, thank you for saying I am a blessing to you.

Looks like a beautiful place to take in a walk and enjoy the beautiful sunset. Very pretty. But you might think about a walking buddy for late walks - just for safety

I've done fussed at her about that!

Nice shot Paulie. You even caught a jet trail up there.

The bridge is not in a remote area. There were many people walking it going both directions. IF for some reason, I am going to die , I figure what a more beautiful place to do it. . . where I can see the Columbia River and get beautiful sunsets like this also. In fact, after seeing the sunset this morning, I ahve been thinking about trying an early morning walk this summer. . . but thanks for thinking of my safety. I am glad you care. . .
