It isn't Christmas but my Christmas Cactus is blooming!

It only has two blossoms so far but I was sure surprised to see them. A friend gave it to me a couple months ago because she no longer had room for it in her tiny apartment --she wanted to use the space for her magnifier. I lucked out when she asked if any one would like it. (The one I bought at Christmas was all blooming and it died before any really opened up.)

You sure did luck out - imagine it blooming now!

I stopped doing Skywatch Photos because so many looked the same. But I like the challenge of the photo hunters and the ABC Wednesday ones. Hope you keep on stopping by. Have a great week. :D And a Happy Mother's Day if it applies.

Very pretty. I had one pot that died before the flowers were opened. :(

That's lovely! It must be very happy in its new home - it's blooming to say "Thank you for having me"

I had heard that they would bloom twice but mine never has. It is back outside. Isn't it nice to have that blessing inside your apartment.
